I think it's partly because kids always want to listen to music that will piss off their parents, and partly because the powers that be can no longer get away with openly perpetrating the black threat myth, so they see hip hop as a good way around that.
You can see this especially with female artists: when Lil Kim dos her thing, they quite happily market the hell out of it. When Christina Aguleira wears a pair of chaps, there's outcry. Which says to me that they don't care how a black woman's acting because they have no higher expectations of her anyway.
I think these negative images suit the suits just fine - it keeps the negative impression of people of colour alive without them having to be made out as racists while it's happening.

I really like the idea of recording radio programmes - setting it up in advance - esp if you go away for few days. I also want to be able to play CD's. I'm aware of the Pure DMX 25, 50 & 60. Are there any others to consider.

Also I double tracked the guitars so it is stereo.
Diezel Herbert Demo and Tone Test Vid with two of my ESP Explorers. One is a 2008 ESP MX-CTM with 3 piece maple neck, rose wood board, sperzels, 60/81 and mahogany body. The other is a custom ESP explorer i snagged of Ebay that has the old mx-220 body and a gibby neck heel with different toggle set up.

Now with the new mic recording set up I can make more accurate vids with regards to tones of the amps or guitars. So here is the first formal Amp Demo.

Charter decided to move TONS of channels around early Monday around 12:30am. My Tivo has yet to figure this out so a lot of my recordings are the wrong shows. This is a huge pain. Esp. since I LOVE Christmas movies and have planned to record a lot of them. I have updated my Tivo a few times already but it has yet to give me the message that it has seen channel changes. There is no way to manually do this. Any idea when it will get with the program?
