Ho’oponopono

HO’OPONOPONO

“Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients–without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate’s chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person’s illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved.

“When I first heard this story, I thought it was an urban legend. How could anyone heal anyone else by healing himself? How could even the best self-improvement master cure the criminally insane? It didn’t make any sense. It wasn’t logical, so I dismissed the story.

“However, I heard it again a year later. I heard that the therapist had used a Hawaiian healing process called ho ‘oponopono. I had never heard of it, yet I couldn’t let it leave my mind. If the story was at all true, I had to know more. I had always understood “total responsibility” to mean that I am responsible for what I think and do. Beyond that, it’s out of my hands. I think that most people think of total responsibility that ay. We’re responsible for what we do, not what anyone else does–but that’s wrong.

“‘I just kept saying, ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I love you’ over and over again,’ he explained.

“That’s it?

“That’s it.

“Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, you improve your world.

“Let me give you a quick example of how this works: one day, someone sent me an email that upset me. In the past I would have handled it by working on my emotional hot buttons or by trying to reason with the person who sent the nasty message.

“This time, I decided to try Dr. Len’s method. I kept silently saying, ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I love you,’ I didn’t say it to anyone in particular. I was simply evoking the spirit of love to heal within me what was creating the outer circumstance.

“Within an hour I got an e-mail from the same person. He apologized for his previous message. Keep in mind that I didn’t take any outward action to get that apology. I didn’t even write him back. Yet, by saying ‘I love you,’ I somehow healed within me what was creating him.

“I later attended a ho ‘oponopono workshop run by Dr. Len. He’s now 70 years old, considered a grandfatherly shaman, and is somewhat reclusive.

He praised my book, The Attractor Factor. He told me that as I improve myself, my book’s vibration will raise, and everyone will feel it when they read it. In short, as I improve, my readers will improve.

“‘What about the books that are already sold and out there?’ I asked.

“‘They aren’t out there,’ he explained, once again blowing my mind with his mystic wisdom. ‘They are still in you.’ In short, there is no out there. It would take a whole book to explain this advanced technique with the depth it deserves.

“Suffice It to say that whenever you want to improve anything in your life, there’s only one place to look: inside you. When you look, do it with love.”

Khanty People

Khanty People

E. D. PROKOF’YEVA, E.D., CHERNETSOV, N. and PRYTKOVA N.F. The Khanty and Mansi.

FORSYTH J.A. J. A History of the Peoples of Siberia. Russia’s North Asian Colony. CUP 1992.

Kretzmann, S. & Wright, S. 1998 - Drilling to the ends of the earth./Survival International. Rainforest Action Network.1998.

Lukina N.V. & V.M.Kulemsin. . Tomsk State University. 1970.

The present-day territory of residence of Khanty lies to the east of the Ural Range along the Ob’ and its tributaries. This territory is mainly covered by vast swamps, numerous rivers and lakes, richly forested.

During the Bronze and Early Iron Ages, forest-steppes of Western Siberia were inhabited by nomadic groups, horse-breeders. These nomads are considered the early Ugrian tribes. The horse-breeders and hunter-fishermen from the North contacted closely. From these wooded steppes the Magyars left in the ninth century AD to Central Europe and founded the Hungarian nation. Other Ugric ethnoses moving north changed the culture and lifestyles into hunting, fishing and rain-deer breeding.

First in the XV century - the Great Novgorod republic and later in the XVI century the Moscovite state had already encroached upon Finno-Ugrian peoples of the west of Ural, founded outlying trade towns and established nominal suzerainty over Khanty and Samoyed inhabitants of the region around the mouth of the Ob.

Khanty, who may have numbered, together with Mansi, about 16,000 at a time when the population of Moscovite Russia was perhaps about 10 million, were not nations with a single ruler or a sense of common identity, but belonged to many separate clans, each with its own hereditary chieftains. The territory occupied by the Khanty extended from the mouth of the Ob and the northern Urals for 400 miles up the Ob to the confluence of the Irtysh, and from there a further 400 miles eastward into the heart of Siberia.

The tribal priests - shamans presided over religious rites in these sacred places, sacrificing horses, reindeer or other animals under a tree and smearing the mouths of spirit effigies with blood to “feed” them. In early times human beings were sacrificed in this and other ways.

Despite all the anti-religious measures employed by the Communist Party, shamans and shamanism continued in Siberia till nowadays.

Finding themselves at best disregarded, but frequently exploited and abused by the invaders of their territory, the native Siberians living to the north seeking escape from the destruction. At the beginning of the twentieth century the peoples of the North, pushed back from the intensively colonized zone of the railway, lived as separately from the ‘white men’ as did the Indians of North America.

Siberian Tribe Struggle for Land Rights
by Kathryn McCann

In the 1930s the Khanty people of Siberia were persecuted by the Soviet regime. They were taken from their ancestral lands, the adults put to work in state farms and the children sent to boarding schools. The shamans were killed in an attempt to crush the people’s spirituality and break their roots to their past.

By the 1960s many of the tribe had managed to move back to the Siberian Taiga and re-establish their traditional semi-nomadic way of life, herding reindeer, hunting, fishing and gathering berries.

But then came a new threat.

Oil, gas and mining companies, seeking to exploit the hidden riches of the land, have wreaked havoc in the delicate arctic environment, polluting water sources, degrading forests and killing or scaring away the animals. In places the land is so damaged that it would take a century to recover enough to support the Khanty’s precious reindeer.

The prospectors trick families into surrendering their land - moving in without their knowledge, promising compensation that never comes or making them believe they have no right to refuse. As a result the people are often driven from their land into ‘native villages’, where they are forced to depend on the state to survive. In desperation many seek solace in the vodka brought in by the oil men or even resort to suicide.

In fact until recently, according to Russian federal law, the people had the right to live and hunt in their traditional lands, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. And in 1994 those who were still living in the traditional way received official land documents from the local administration, giving them the right to deny entry to prospectors. Now, however, a new Land Code has come into force that invalidates the previous laws, leaving the Khanty with no protection from those who want to exploit their land.

Age of Conan - Blessed Claws

This week we take a look at one of the hardiest and most battle-capable of the healing classes — the Bear Shaman.

Since ages long passed, certain gifted individuals — often referred to as wise men or wise women — have held a special, unbreakable bond with the spirits of nature. Within many of the primitive societies found among the hill tribes of Cimmeria, these men and women are held in particularly high regard due to their ability to call upon the powers these spirits possess. For these and many other Cimmerians — a people whose lives are greatly influenced by the creatures of nature that surrounds them — anyone who can tap into these powers are considered to be of great importance and wisdom.

Those of them who decide to leave their tribes and head into the world of great adventure, often call themselves Bear Shamans. With their ability to perform ancient rites and call upon the spirits of the bear, the Bear Shamans are a valued addition to any group of adventurers who wishes to tackle the challenges of Hyborian reality.

The Bear Shaman has received the more physical aspect of nature — while the Druid of the Storm will conjure up lightning and storms, the Bear Shaman focuses his power and energies towards himself, aligning himself through shamanistic rites with the spirit of the bear.

The Bear Shaman represents two sides of nature — Tranquility and Fury. The tranquil side of the Bear Shaman allows him to utilize powerful magic to heal himself and his friends. Tapping into the power of the wind, the Bear Shaman may heal both himself and his teammates by utilizing the very forces of nature itself. The “Renewal” spell grained at level twenty is one of many healing spells the Bear Shaman will have access to. His ability to resurrect friends who fell in the midst of a bloody battle becomes available to him at around level thirty, but the spell will become more and more potent as the Bear Shaman grows in power — allowing him to further diminish the detrimental effects of death.

In Age of Conan there is also something called “cone healing” which is basically a feature where the caster can heal everyone in front of within a certain distance. The first of these spells is “Blood Flow” received at level twenty-five. Instead of having to target specific members of your party or casting an area of effect spell, the Bear Shaman must face those he wish to heal. Far from being an observer in battles, the Bear Shaman will also have to heal himself to remedy the injuries sustained through fighting. As such, the “Blood Flow” spell will also heal the caster — although with lesser effect.

One of the furious sides of the Bear Shaman allows him to use various weapons in order to engage in melee combat. Known to be more than able fighters, the Bear Shaman will learn to master several tools of death — such as two-handed blunt weapons, two-handed edged weapons and even bows at later levels. Through practice they gain access to various melee combos that will allow them to perform violent, damage-dealing maneuvers with their weapon.

Calling upon the spirits of the bear, the Bear Shaman can boost both himself and those who travels with him. As the great transparent shape of the bear rises up behind him to transfuse the powers over to the caster, the “Spirit of the Bear” spell will increase the caster’s health. Caving into his furious nature, the Bear Shaman will gain access to the powerful “Lycanthropic Bite” spell at level eighty, a spell that will take a percentage of the melee damage the Bear Shaman does with both normal and combo moves and convert it into healing. The “Grizzled Hide” spell will increase the defense rating of all teammates, but only if they remember to stay close to the bear shaman. Moving too far away from him and the effects will disappear. This will urge teammates to stay close.

Pulling out a ferocious power from deep within his own spirit, the Bear Shaman can also cast so-called manifestations. “Enfeebling Manifestation” gained around level fifty will, for instance, continuously pulse a curse from the caster that will debuff all nearby foes.

Bear Shamans can also curse their enemies. Using “Blessed Claws” which becomes available at level seventy, two bears will rush past the caster and put a curse on the target that will not only increase the health regeneration of the caster, but will also heal anyone who attacks the caster’s target — thus making life extremely difficult for the enemy! The Bear Shaman’s ability to heal, buff and even engage in vicious close combat (not to mention ranged combat) makes this class an excellent choice for anyone who wants to explore many of the different aspects of Age of Conan at once — from melee to magic.

Dancing for a Vision

“Great Spirit, show me the way. I hold the lifeline of the Shaman’s rattle and drum. I let myself go into the sacred dance. In the dance there is no past or future, only the eternal now. Circling round the fire, I will dance until my mind is clear and my heart is pure. May I see the path with a heart, the path of healing.”

Studio notes: Ancient peoples from around the world have some kind of ecstatic rite that involves dancing. In this song we combined Native and African drums with a modern dance groove to create a compelling dance rhythm and then added our northern plains G Minor Native-American flute, acoustic guitar and lush keyboards to help our listeners lose themselves in the dance of life.

Thank you for listening.
May all beings walk in peace.

A beautiful documentary by Jeremy Narby author of the ‘Cosmic Serpent’, authored by the Cosmic Serpent & also not the author of the Cosmic Serpent about the shamanic traditions of healing, rebirth through the spirit journey to the true self.

How through the ingestion of the specially prepared the Ayahuasca the inhabitants of these simple cultures walk with the spirits in peace & love & oneness with nature.

Amazing visualizations of ‘hallucinations’ which arte in fact just the real view from inside your private DNA party when your perception has flown the constrictions of your mind-cage & enters the more timeless reality toward superconsciousness or Christhood.

Taking you inside you personality to release the past, which is a waveform in your present genetics, & evolving you in the present toward cosmic dreamtime & our Divine connection & truth of being

I had a NDE without having to die, my Spirit friend initiated the experience in me
& I wanted to share with you all that the love of our Creator
is so powerful & intoxicating that their is nothing - NO DRUG - NO EARTHLY EXPERINCE that comes close,( & I’ve known some serious earthly rapture, lol)

Premeditated Murder: Meditated Upon

Shaman Spirit Guide and Past Life 9 Comments »

“Premeditated Murder: Meditated Upon”, presents West Coast rap trio The Invisible People. Featuring lyrical skills, production finesse, and an original video concept the ‘Indians’ serve the rap scene some classic sights and sounds.

The video is an ideal example of The Invisible People style. In fact, it is a signature aspect of The Invisible Peoples inner psyche. It is a confession. The scenes depict the brothers engaging in what appears to be innocent activities (cleaning a classic Rolls Royce, smoking a cigarette, performing a healing treatment), though there is obvious tension in the plot. Like Godfather I the movie, the brothers are a first generation family in America where it’s not ‘business as usual’. In fact, all three brothers with their long, braided, jet-black hair don’t even look like the usual suspects. They duel with struggles of light and dark in ways and means customary in the ‘old country’. Overt references to ‘battle’, ‘enemies’, ’sacrifice’, and ‘death’ run cold through Skitzofrenics verses. All the while, I Be M, who actually holds an M.S. degree in Oriental Medicine, operates on a complacent and unsuspecting patient. This is the clue that there is something more than what is seemingly present on the surface. There’s hope. There’s a surreal sense that ‘light’ persists even in the midst of absolute darkness. Dare I say, light exists because of absolute darkness.

Do the scenes in the video ultimately infer murder, i.e. ‘Premeditated Murder’ like the song title suggests? Or is the subject being released in a ritualistic manner by way of shamanic exorcism? Perhaps the answer lies somewhere in the details. In pursuit of the very answer to these questions we are privy to the ‘Invisible’ in The Invisible People. What we find is a subtle proclamation, an acceptance, of something hidden and sacred, something tangible to our psyche, yet ‘Invisible’ to the world. Yes, the video is dark. But somehow the brothers find redemption in what appears to be signs of life and light. An image of a ‘Crow’, a Phoenix-like metaphor, rises out of flames and is a symbol of death and resurrection, a spirit being released. Fire is sacred and is present in every South Asian ceremony. It is a symbol of purification. The scenes take an eerie turn becoming all the more haunting while juxtaposed to a soft and feminine voice singing “churaliya hay tumne jo dil ko, nazar nahi churana sanam” (you’ve stolen my heart, don’t steal my sight (perception ‘of truth’) my beloved”. This is the final log in the funeral pyre if you will. The job is done. The crow takes to the sky.

William Faulkner once said that ‘the past is never dead, it’s not even past”. The Invisible People know this well. They knowingly toy with the idea. There is only life after life. The video features handpicked props and sets that set the stage for the past to come alive. Everything from the early 1900’s style architecture of the featured home, a classic Rolls Royce (The vehicle registration still reads Harrah’s No. 8 and is a car that was reserved for the legendary Rat Pack in Las Vegas by Harrahs Hotel & Casino), ruins of the Humming Bird temples of Tzin, Tzun, Tzan, and the ancient healing art of acupuncture are indicative of and an homage to the old. According to Mr. Sandmantis, who Minored in Anthropology at California State University Northridge, and who makes pilgrimages to sacred sites throughout the world regularly, “the past isn’t just relevant to us…it’s alive. So as long as we have a connection to and a memory of our living past we have a backbone to stand on”. Oh yes, you do hear the passion of Public Enemies’ “It Takes A Nation of Millions…” loud and clear from The Invisible People. Bravo.

The song, “Premeditated Murder: Meditated Upon” is an example of what Bruce Lee referred to as ‘Broken Rhythm’. Although the song has a distinct pattern, it lacks traditional organization in a sense of a single catchy hook repeated over and over again. Somehow the risqué maneuver works. It’s meant to be listened to, to draw you in. If the lyrics don’t get you, the deep Led Zep-ish groove in “When the Levy Breaks” will. Like many Classic Rock recordings, The Invisible People chose to allow the track to evolve naturally, to let its composition reflect the journey it was meant to take a listener on, instead of forcing it to fit tightly into a predictable ‘air-play’ model. With freedom at hand Skitzofrenic cut his calibrated rhymes in one take. I Be M and Mr. Sandmantis recite animal fighting styles that touch upon their psycho-spiritual persona. The song also features a funky scratch solo by the incredible DJ Spin-vincible. The song and the video reflect each other’s complexity and finesse. At last, the stakes are raised. A cult classic is born. All hail to independent labels that innovate and compel with their hard fought independence.

A CIRCLE HAS BECOME YOU

Shaman Spirit Guide and Past Life No Comments »

THROUGH THE LIGHTNING OF TIME
A SPIRIT CONJURES WITH THE SHADOW
A SLOWEST RESOLVE MELTS IN THE WATER
WHAT PART OF SEEKING IS SOUGHT
THE ANCIENT RIVER IS FULL OF TEARS
LONG PAST THE IMPLEMENTATION OF LIFE
WE FIND THE EARTH BALD & WITLESS
WATER A LOST CONDENSATION
AIR AN UNUSEABLE TORRENT
FIRE AN UN-PLIABLE MESS
THE WORLD IS LOST IN SLEEP
PARADING UPON THE THOUGHTS IN MAN
I DANCE WITH BODIES IN CONSTELLATIONS
WATCHING VIBRATIONS COME TO KNOWLEDGE
PARTIALLY IT IS CONCERN
SOME OF IT IS MOTIVATION
I WATCH THE WORLD WITHER IN MY LIGHTNING
I SEE EVERYTHING AS EYES
WHY THE WORLD IS MOTIVATED BY ITS OWN SHADOW
SEEKING A FIRE IN THE SKY
I SHOW YOU PERSUASIVENESS
A POND OF ENLIGHTENMENT OF LIGHTNING
A RIVER PAST THE UNIVERSE
I HOLD THE LIGHT THAT HITS THIS PLANET
WARMING AND COOLING A JUNCTION OF SPITE
THE WORLD IS BUILT ON INTERVALS
MOONS
SEASONS
YEARS
ETERNITIES
FOR I AM SHARK
A WORLD OF WITNESS
FOCUSING DRAMA FOR THE SUN TO BURN AWAY
THE TIP OF LIGHTNING SINKS INTO THE GROUND

The Cosmic Revolution with Pamela Eakins, Ph.D.

Shaman Spirit Guide and Past Life 1 Comment »

Dr. Pamela Eakins is my spiritual teacher who initiated me into the Western Mystery School. Her wisdom and love have been an inspirational source for my evolution of consciousness. I am deeply honored to produce this video for her vision of the Cosmic Revolution. Thank you Joyce Eakins for your extraordinary visionary art of hearts, hands and images of Tarot of The Spirit that reveal the beauty and vision of the Great Mystery. Thank you Lou Solitske for your images of nature that convey the magic of the earth and the Universe.
The song Naheey-Quest for the Holy Grail was originally recorded without the rhythm sound track. This song was inspired by my past life memory from the Avalon Mystery School at Glastonbury, England. The essence of this song is deeply connected to the Mystery of Mary Magdalene. I invite you to participate in Dr. Eakins’ vision as you create your cosmic song and dance to celebrate the Soulful Cosmos of who you are and the living Holy Grail within you.

Animal Spirit Guides

Shaman Spirit Guide and Past Life 9 Comments »

In earlier days we understood that we were simply a part of the earth. We knew we were only one small part. Now many think humans are the greatest and most important part. But still, we are only a part of the earth, only a part of nature, only a child of Mother, only a part of Spirit. We used to know respect of Nature and killed only what we ate and used only the skins of what we killed and ate. We did not waste life nor disrespect spirits but honored and thanked them for providing us with life, nourishment, and comfort. In earlier days we gave recognition to the power of the animal spirits by wearing skins, masks, mimicking, singing praise, and prayers to specific animals. We painted the animals on our homes, caves, death chambers, and asked the Spirit to guide us to the animal that we consumed and bless the spirit of the animal we kill for we are a predator in the part of Nature and we honored the spirit of our prey. These acts allowed us to remain linked to the animal guides and to accept the power they offer us in lessons, in life, and in death. It reminded us that all animals, were our sisters, brothers, and cousins and most importantly our teachers and our friends. It reminded us that we too are animals with spirit.

The Natural Power of animal totems has not been lost. They still hold the power and the knowledge we can use. Only we must remember how to be One with Nature and all that is, has been, and will be. Cultures of the past understood the connections. We must not lose this connection now that we are ‘cultured’. For what was will always be and all those cultures could not have been wrong. There is a reason that Spirit has put all of us together, has given us so many healing stones, and has given us medicine, for the body and the spirit. We are all one. Using Animal Totems will allow you to see and love the earth better, to know life better, to know yourself better, and to commune better with Mother and Spirit. You can be healthier and happier physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in understanding and honoring your animal totems.
