Christians-can you please tell me what is your opinion of christ consciousness,chakras,karma,et…?
Christ Consciousness November 4th, 2008christians can you please take the time to look at this webpage and tell me is this truthful or subtlely deceptive/twisting Jesus teaching.It talks about receiving Jesus and the holy spirit but it also mentions chakras/lower energies,ascension,planetary karma etc.ive never believed in karma even before christianity but sometimes ive still wondered regarding chakras/centres?
It also mentions ascension physical symptoms which i read about a few years ago when i used to read about new age stuff but i know this stuff isnt true and ive never believed in karma even before christianity but sometimes ive still wondered regarding chakras but then on the other hand im thinking am i being wrongly judgemental and is this true somehow because it talks very convincingly about unconditional love and accepting Jesus and the holy spirit/fruits of the spirit etc so can you please give me your opinions.

Thanks st polycarp 77-sometimes its hard for me to tell what is factualy christian and what is distortion-sometimes its quite close-like they talk about receiving the holy spirit but the holy spirit guides you to truth so you would think if theyve really received the holy spirit theyd be led to to the truth?
But on the other hand regarding chakras that also a bit confusing because christianity talks about love and the more hindu based religions talk about love coming from the heart centre(chakra) and love does come from the heart-but on the other hand they talk about the sixth(third eye) centre/chakra which is where the psychic abilities are meant to come from and i know that psychic abilities are told not to do in the bible and that its going to the other(satan) not God for information and even regardless or your religion/faith or whether you dont believe in God psychics

Mary, I have been familiar with this New Age movement for some time now from a strictly Catholic perspective. It is a false Gospel and false Christ that they refer to. It’s basically a “feel good about yourself” message wrapped with Jesus’ teachings. Don’t subscribe to it and don’t even give it a second thought. I’ve heard and read of peoples lives being destroyed because of this.

just remeber, if your praying for things that are not according to the Will of God it will not come to pass, or maybe your wanting something done in your time and not time God wants you have something
